Opera Residencies
On March 14th, Maestro Michael Black shared his expertise and passion for music in a choral clinic with students at Senn High School. Senn is one of two CPS high schools that have received year-long vocal training from a Lyric teaching artist, tickets to the Carmen dress rehearsal, and special guest artist visits as part of Lyric Unlimited's High School Choir Residency program.
Lyric Elementary Residency at Palmer Ep 2
Palmer Elementary is new to our Elementary Opera Residency program and this video captures one 3rd grade classroom's journey to create an original opera based on a book they are reading in class.
Collectively, Lyric Unlimited's school residency programs impact 683 elementary school students and 278 high school students across the city.
