With Labor Day behind us and school back in session in one form or another, it’s time to say “So Long, Farewell” to summer. And who better to lead us into the fall season than one of the great home-schoolers in musical theater, Maria Rainer, and the von Trapp children from The Sound of Music? A heartwarming story of resourcefulness and inspiration in the face of uncertain circumstances, The Sound of Music gives us a lot to relate to these days.
